Programs

The SCVF supports local nonprofits, knowing a vital nonprofit sector makes our communities strong. The SCVF is eager to launch Consultants in Service (CIS) in the fall of 2017. CIS will comprise a volunteer cadre of consultants who donate time and expertise to nonprofit organizations in the Lower St. Croix Valley area. The SCVF will match free consulting services with non-profit need. For additional information on this program, please contact Angie Pilgrim at apilgrim@scvfoundation.org.

In 2004, SCVF partnered with Hugh J. Andersen Foundation to launch the Community Partnership Initiative and The Nonprofit Management Assistance Grant Program. In doing so, SCVF helped organize many workshops and conferences to strengthen the leadership, governance, and management for nonprofit organizations in the St. Croix Valley.

In 2006, SCVF celebrated its tenth anniversary by announcing the Partners for the Future, a $1 million dollar challenge match initiative designed to help 19 local nonprofit organizations build permanent funds to carry out their missions.

In 2015, SCVF partnered with Hugh J. Andersen Foundation and UW-Eau Claire Continuing Education to offer the Nonprofit Management Certificate Program in Hudson, WI.  Eleven area non-profit leaders received full scholarships to attend the workshops and achieved certification.
